Joseph Murry Nacoste (Joe), aged 81, passed away on April 20, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer. He departed peacefully in his home in Estacada, OR surrounded by loved ones. Born on December 18, 1942 in Louisiana to Albert and Mary Nacoste, Joe touched the lives of those around him with his strength, resilience, and love for feeding people. Despite facing the challenges of his illness, he remained a strong, loving man full of fire, humor and hope. He was a true inspiration to all who knew him. Throughout his life, Joe embodied strength, determination and kindness for those he loved. His generosity knew no bounds when it came to feeding or helping a neighbor, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of friends and family alike. His legacy of hard work, strength, and love for his family will be cherished by all who had the privilege of sharing in his journey. Joseph Murry Nacoste is survived by his loving family, including many friends from all walks of life.

Joseph Murry Nacoste has 8 biological children and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Joe spent his last days surrounded by love and support from his children and grandchildren.

Joe’s daughter Faren Artis cared for him tirelessly throughout his battle with cancer along with other family and friends; Tyrone & Ali Nacoste, Murry Nacoste, James Artis, Colin Nacoste, Yvette Alvarez-Salinas, Nancy Karmiller, Tim Nacoste, Andrew Bennett, Tyrone Keever, Rosemary Chaisson, Thelma White, Albert Anzaldua, and more.

Joe’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, and his strength will continue to inspire generations to come. A celebration of Joseph Murry Nacoste's life will be held at a later date to be determined. May Joseph Murry Nacoste rest in eternal peace, free from pain, and may he be remembered for the love and light he brought into the lives of others.
