Linda Gail Wood

A celebration of life will be held on April, 22, 2023 at 2:00pm in the Fireside Room at Grace Crossing Bible Church formally Estacada First Baptist Church.

Linda Gail Mullenix was born on July 13, 1940 in Centralia, Washington to L. Ernest and Mary (Whiting) Mullenix. She was raised in PeEll, Washington, where she graduated from high school. She settled in Eagle Creek in 1964 where she raised her family. Linda worked for the Estacada School District until her retirement in 2004. She was a great influence in the lives of many students and a surrogate mom to many of the staff.

Gram, as she was known by many, loved spending time with her family, going to the beach, and crocheting. She also enjoyed volunteering at the Book Nook. She was eagerly awaiting the birth of three great grandchildren this spring.

Survivors include her children Sally Wood, Eric (Lesa) Wood, Pam (Michael) Wagner, Jay Wood; grandchildren, Samantha (Kyle) Bauman, Stephanie (Kyle) McDonald, Shannon (Jordan) Rohling; great-grandchildren Ben, Bailey, Kevin, Logan and Mason and sister Kathryn “Pete” (Larry) Nichols and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Nancy Gudyka and her parents.

Donations can be made to the Book Nook in Estacada or the Estacada Food Bank in lieu of flowers.
