Sandy resident, Margaret Ann Walton died on Tuesday, January 24, 2023. She was 80 years old.
A service will be held Saturday, 1:00 PM, February 11, 2023, at Estacada Funeral Chapel.
Margaret Ann Walton, was born in Hillsboro, Oregon on July 7, 1942, to John and Mary (Klassen) Tacholsky. She went on to graduate from Gaston High School, and in 1960, she married Lewis Lambert. They had 3 children together, and later divorced. She then married Howard Walton in 1967, and welcomed his 3 children into their family, and later had twins. They moved to Eagle Creek in 1968 and lived there until 2008. Through her life, she was a homemaker and mother to her children. She spent some time working at Techtronics, and helping her husband with accounting for the Towing Business they owned.
Margaret enjoyed volunteering as much as possible in her free time, and loved to garden, collect stamps, sewing, and do anything craft related.
Survivors include her children, David Walton, Lyle Walton, Brenda Thronson, Kim Ward, Ron Walton, and Don Walton; 22 grandchildren, over 40 great-grandchildren, and many great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Walton; sons Kevin Walton and Kris Walton; and bonus daughter Barbara Scott.
