Obituary For Timothy Robert Riedel

Timothy Robert Riedel died on February 6, 2023, in his home in Damascus, Oregon. He was 54 years old. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Redland Pioneer Cemetery.

Timothy Riedel was born on July 20, 1968 in Portland, Oregon, to Frederic and Carol (Frost) Riedel. He grew up with one sister, and went on to attend Gladstone High School. After high school. He enlisted In the Army, where he was stationed in Georgia, before being sent off to 13 different countries, including his favorite: Honduras. After the military, he settled in Redland, Oregon, where he married his first wife Shawn (Anderson) Riedel. They had two kids together. He then met Tracy Ostby, and they were together for 13 years, before they married in December 2022. During his lifetime, Tim spent time working with heavy machinery, and welding, before owning his own fencing company.

Tim enjoyed the outdoors, including fishing, hunting, and golfing. In his free time, he also enjoyed playing poker, playing with his granddaughters; being a proud papa and watching his beloved Dallas Cowboys.

Survivors include his wife Tracy Riedel; children Tyler (Josh) Rose, Kyle (Jessica) Riedel, Emily McKee, Krystal (Nathan) Merchant, and Michael Strickland; granddaughters Fallon Morris, Charlie Rose, Halle Riedel, Ryan Rose, and Nova Merchant. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frederic and Carol Riedel.
