Dennis "Denny" Crane peacefully passed away at his
home on July 20, 2026, at the age of 84.
Born on January 10, 1942, in Sacramento, California, to
Walter and Marie Crane, Denny spent his early years in the area. After briefly
attending college, he voluntarily enlisted in the US Army in 1960, serving
until his discharge in 1963 and completing his reserve duty by 1966.
Remaining in Sacramento until age 33, Denny met Linda Renne
in 1981, and they married on May 8, 1982, in Portland, Oregon. A master
mechanic by trade, Denny owned his own shop for five years and retired from
Wildish Standard Paving in 2005. He relocated to Arizona in 2013, later
returning to Damascus in 2024.
Denny was passionate about fishing, hunting, vehicle
restoration, camping, boating, and exploring the outdoors.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda. Preceding him in
death were his sons, Todd and Jody Crane, as well as his parents and siblings.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
