On February 6th, only five days after her 50th birthday, Jamie Lynette Wallace passed away in her home surrounded by those who loved her. Jamie was a fighter, and she fought chronic pancreatis for almost three years before it took her away from us much too young.
Jamie Lynette Wallace (maiden Boyd), was born February 1st, 1976 to Darlene Hays and Roger Boyd in Vancouver, Washington. She was Darlene's only child, and they were best friends for her whole life. Later in life, Roger blessed Jamie with three half brothers.
Jamie spent most of her life in Oregon and Washington. She moved to Estacada Oregon with her mom in her elementary years and called it home. Her mom married Gregory Kiggins who became a great dad to her whom she cherished very much. Jamie attended Estacada Highschool and graduated in 1994. She continued on to beauty school. She worked as a hair dresser in her early twenties, then took care of children, raised award-winning Labradors, and later worked for DSHS.
During beauty school, Jamie fell for her friend's brother, Erik. Jamie married Erik Morrow Wallace September 16th 2000. They had just celebrated 25 years of marriage. Their love for each other had no limit. They made it through hard times and good times. They built a beautiful life together and raised four children. Her children were Catherine, Kylee, Derik, and Deena.
She loved her husband, her children, and animals. She is survived by her husband Erik, her children, six grandchildren, her dad Gregory, her father Roger, brothers, and numerous friends. Her loud laugh and never stop personality will be missed.
A celebration of life will be held at the Estacada Funeral Home on February 28th 2026 at 11am. All who knew and loved her are welcome.
