Obituary

Kyle Scott Stahl peacefully passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at a hospital in Portland, surrounded by his loving family.

Kyle was born on February 10, 1988 in Portland. He was the oldest of three children born to Scott and Sonja Stahl. He was raised in Gresham and graduated from Barlow high school. As a child Kyle enjoyed soccer and track. He was also an avid Star Trek fan which he was introduced to by his father Scott. He spent his career working as a warehouseman at Fred Meyer until his passing.

Kyle was a passionate member of the "Puddle Cutters" moped scooter club, with whom he had traveled across the country, including a Mother’s Day run to which he shared with his mother Sonja, a memory that will forever be cherished. Camping was another activity he greatly enjoyed throughout his life.

Kyle was an Uncle to Grace and Audrey Byerley the children of his sister Corinne and husband Adam. Kyle loved playing with his nieces in the ocean. He loved throwing them up in the air and having them sit on his shoulders. He loved spending time with Corinne when she came to town. Some of those visits included riding on the back of his motorcycle dodging tree branches. Kyle was the older brother to Ethan his riding buddy and past roommate. He also leaves behind several Aunts and Uncles and cousins.

A special thanks to the Puddle Cutters and TNP for embracing Kyle and being an integral part of his life. Your unwavering love and support will not be forgotten.

A private service will be held at the home of his parents.

Kyle was widely known as a kindhearted, welcoming person and I’d felt this firsthand. He was always seen with a genuine smile and you always parted ways with him with one because of him. He enriched the lives of everyone in the 2-wheeled community and I’m sure beyond. To say he’ll be missed is an understatement. David Sotelo
Grom Kyle forever. Love from LSLB and Boston mopeds. Eric Levine
