Estacada resident Kylee Johnson passed away at her home on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at the age of 83.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026 at 11:00 at Grace Crossing Bible Church.
Kylee was born on June 8, 1942, in Baker City, Oregon, to Alfred and Roselle (Keppets) Bahler. She was raised in Lake Oswego, where she graduated from high school. Following the sudden passing of her first husband, Robert Stergeon, she worked as a single mother to raise their three children. She later married Don Kunzi, who also preceded her in death.
On May 18, 2000, Kylee married Thomas Johnson in Honolulu, Hawaii. They lived in Salem before moving to Lake Oswego to care for Kylee’s aging parents. In 2012, they moved to Estacada, where they operated their embroidery business, Key Creations. After 30 years of ownership, they retired and sold the business in 2023.
Kylee had a passion for quilting, gardening, and her dogs.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Johnson; her children, Brenda Shepherd, Daniel Stergeon, and Connie Crapser; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
