In Loving Memory Of

Pearl Leetch

October 17th, 1941 - March 25th, 2025

Obituary

Pearl (Peggy) Leetch was born in Oregon City, Oregon on Oct. 17, 1941 to Mike and Lilly Struloeff. She was raised in a large, loving, hardworking family where she was the youngest child of a set of twins (Pete & Peggy). Her other siblings Bob, Rosemary, Bill, Dolly, and Skippy helped with the twins as they were all busy with their family-owned Sawmill and Farm. Early on Peggy was affectionately called "Sister" by her mother. Her mom taught her how to cook bake, can fruits & vegetables, sew, knit, croquet, and restored things. Her creativeness was nurtured and her talent shined throughout her life. Peggy attended Trinity Lutheran High School in Oregon City and later met the love of her life, Larry Leetch who she later married. They would have celebrated their 64" Anniversary this year. They had two children, daughter Lilly and son Terry. Peggy dedicated herself to her family and had a strong loving relationship with both of her children and supported them both always. During their long loving marriage together, they enjoyed traveling on their Motorcycles Road trips or RV Trailer Trips all over Oregon and Washington. Throughout Larry and Peggy's life together they lived in Milwaukie Or., Oregon City, Or, and for the last 15 years living in Estacada, Or. on their son’s property where Terry cared for, watched over and cherished both his parents. Larry passed away in 2023 leaving Peggy to carry on without him. Her strength and faith saw her through the difficult time of losing the man she had been married to for 64 years. She kept her cheery loving disposition and moved forward.

Peggy also enjoyed decades of League bowling with her sisters. In her later years she loved Bingo and shopping in her favorite shops. She enjoyed family Potluck gatherings. Peggy kept a beautiful home and loved spoiling all those she loved offering all she had to them. One of her favorite yearly events was her son Terry's Christmas party. Her Laughter and giggles could be heard expressing her delight over the funny white Elephant gifts. Her gifts were often personally made by her. Countless hours put into making blankets, pillow cases, flower arrangements or a huge batch of homemade macaroon cookies, fudge, and divinity. Her love of beauty and giving were her trademarks. Her greatest joy was her relationships with her Grand Children and Great Grand Children. Peggy was loved and cherished by family and friends alike. She will be remembered for her infectious laughter, her beautiful hugs and kisses, her loving attitude, commitment to family, her persevering faith, and her kindness to all.

Peggy passed the morning of Tuesday, March 25, 2025, peacefully morning in her own home from a stroke.

Peggy is survived by Daughter Lilly and her children (Dustin, Jeremy, Paul, Destiny, and Eli), Son Terry and his children (Christina and Robby).

Her Remembrance services will be held in the future.
