Adonica Greene, age 73, passed away on December 9th, 2023 with her family by her side.
Adonica Lynn Greene was born January 21, 1950 in Anamosa, Iowa, a daughter to Robert and Darlene (McNamara) Greene. Her father worked for American Greetings, and they moved from Iowa to Tennessee, then to California and finally Oregon. They settled in Boring, Oregon where she graduated from Gresham High School. Adonica received her teaching degree from Western Oregon University and then received her Masters in Education from Portland State University. She worked for the Estacada School District. Her true passion was working with children. After retiring from the school district she enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, golfing and playing pool with her friends, and traveling.
Survivors include her daughter, Zandrea Britt; grandson, Zayden Greene; granddaughter Vangelina Britt and sister, Connie McGrath.
A celebration of life will be held in spring at her house. Contact family for more information. Family requests that any memorials be in the form of contributions to donor’s choice.
