Estacada resident, April Cox, died Tuesday, February 20, 2018, after 2.5-year battle with cancer. She was 18.
A celebration of her life will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, February 23, 2018, at Estacada First Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
April Kristianne Cox was born March 4, 1999, in Anchorage, Alaska. The family moved back to Estacada when she was 2 weeks old. She attended Estacada Schools until her illness in October of 2015.
April enjoyed making videos, photography and singing. She loved kids especially her nieces and nephews, she had a great sense of humor with a sarcastic wit. After the last 2.5 years, she was an amazing fighter and kept her faith in God.
Survivors include her mother, Lauri Lamb; stepfather, Charlie Lamb; brothers, Jacob (Lanelle) King, Brian Cox, Tom Cox; sisters, Shawna (Robert) Mireles, Joy (Jason) Wiseman, Jenica (Matt Kass) Cox, Kali Cox; grandfather, Robert Crombie; nieces and nephews, Austin, Alissa, Ethan, Lily, Rachel, Emily, Sarah, James, Levi, Anna, Sephy, Olivia and Elliot; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
