Long time Estacada Resident Betty Siemers passed Sunday November 26, 2023, at her home. She was 82
years old.
Betty Marie Siemers was born March 5, 1941, in Seattle, Washington to Keith Shirey and Lois
Anderson. She was raised in Centrailia, Washington and married Melvin Roy Siemers on July 21, 1961, in
Winnemucca, Nevada. Together they lived in Beaverton, Portland and moved to Estacada in 1986. Betty
worked for Oregon Cutting Systems and retired in 2002. Betty enjoyed the outdoors, being a home maker, her family and spending time with her grand and
great grandkids.
Betty is Survived by her husband Melvin Roy Siemers; Son, Tracy Siemers (Terry);
Daughter Susie Clinton (Reggie); Grandchildren Jessie and Josh Siemers; Whitney, Elijhah and Gabrielle
Hicks; Great grand children Kiara Hicks; Brody, Dash, Drake, Harper and Ruby Siemers. Among many
other family members and friends who loved her dearly.
