I am so very sad to find out about my dear friend Denise's death! We worked together at Steps to Success and she was an inspiration! She was one of the kindest and most generous people I have ever met. I work with people seeking help with alcohol and drug problems and ever since I told her that the butterfly is a symbol of recovery, she gave me the most beautiful butterfly calendars each year! Dear Georgioff family, may the dear Lord grant you comfort in these days and remind you that you are very loved. Jason and Daryl Knudeson Jason Knudeson
I had the pleasure of working with Denise at Mt Hood Community College. She acted beyond the call of duty in helping the ESL students in my class when they were at computers or accessing books. She took true pleasure whenever one of the citizenship students received their Naturalization Certificate. Her spirit lingers on here. Eunice
Denise fought the good fight as she battled her cancer. I was so impressed with the love of her friends outside the family who were there with her even providing her a place to live and car to move to Arizona. Her smile never ceased to amaze me in the midst of pain, There were good, hard talks about the Lord and His care for her during this trial When her time to move out of her home came, God provided her an eternal rent free home with Him. Dawn Henry
Denise was a wonderful compassionate lady; she will be greatly missed. She devoted her life to helping others. She offered support to the students at mhcc and guidance to her friends and colleagues. I feel honored to have known her. May she rest peacefully in the loving arms of Jesus. Kathryn Hanna
I worked with Denise at Youth for Christ Youth Guidance for several years. We stayed in touch through the years. The last few years we spent encouraging each other through difficult times. Denise was courageous and uplifting. Her faith in the Lord was inspiring. My prayers are with her family and friends as we are saddened by her passing but rejoice in the greater hope she had to be in the presence of God. Blessings, Jan Jan Bump
