Obituary

Longtime Estacada resident, Dustin Ryan Nash, tragically passed away on December 6, 2024, at the age of 43 due to complications of his tracheostomy in Portland, Oregon. A beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, Dustin's sudden passing has left a deep void in the hearts of all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Grace Crossing Bible Church.

Dustin was born on March 10, 1981, in Portland, Oregon, to Mark and Doris (Wittekind) Nash. He was raised in Estacada, where he built his life and family. In April 2005, Dustin met his future wife, Briana, on a blind date set up by his sister, Shelly. Together, they raised their children, Jayden and Mia, in Estacada. Dustin was a proud and hardworking man, owning and operating Nash Transport, LLC. Beyond his work, Dustin enjoyed many passions in life. He was always eager to help family and friends. Dustin enjoyed his dogs, RC cars, game nights, big rigs, heavy equipment, Ford trucks, guns, white shoes, and date nights. Above all, Dustin cherished his family and took immense pride in being a loving father to his children. 

Dustin is survived by his wife, Briana Nash; children, Jayden and Mia Nash; his father, Mark Nash; his mother, Doris Althauser; stepfather, James Althauser; sister, Shelly Abbs; brother-in-law, Scott Abbs; nephew, Cody Abbs; and niece, Breeanna Abbs.

He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his memory live on in the hearts of his loved ones.


Convoy begins in Molalla at 9:00 AM and will conclude at Estacada High School.

My deepest sympathy to Dustin’s family.I got the pleasure to meet work & enjoy the kind heart of this young Man. He was very loving with & to his Family. People he worked with. I was so crush to hear of his passing I cried for a couple of days. So I can imagine how the family felt.
