Obituary

Longtime Estacada resident, John Endicott, died at his home on Friday, May 31, 2024. He was 63 years old. A celebration of his life will be held at Lincoln Memorial Park at a later date.

 

John Wayne Endicott Jr. was born May 3, 1961 in Portland, Oregon to John and Mary (Tilden) Endicott. John was raised by his mother and stepfather, James Gindlesperger, in Portland, Oregon until the family moved to Estacada before John was in high school. John graduated from Estacada High School, Class of 1979. After high school, John married Linda Erickson (the couple later divorced) and together they had two daughters, Jamie and Jennifer Endicott.  

 

John is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Jamie and Vince Culp, and Jennifer and Kelly Roane; along with his four grandchildren, Mason and Gage Culp, and Bree and Brody Roane. John is also survived by his sister, Lisa Foley, and his two half-brothers, Randy and Russell Gindlesperger. John was preceded in death by his sister Janine, as well as both parents.

 

John enjoyed fishing, playing chess, spending time with his grandchildren, and hanging out with his friends.
