Good memories of cousin Larry from our childhood; he was smart and a good ball player. But I especially remember my sense of his good heart and fun-loving disposition. When all the Fowler & Allen cousins got together, whether on Holidays, out at Pease Rd house, or down at Grandpa/Grandma Fowler's, it was a lot of fun as we were all within 3 or 4 years of each other in age. And we had good times camping and enjoying the outdoors when our families got together. Wishing we could have spent more time together during adolescent & adult years as I would have loved to enjoy & learn from his love of the guitar and writing. Thank you Larry for the memories and when my time comes, will happily join you and brother Dave "up yonder"! Steve Allen
I had the honor of working with Larry though my work in Estacada! I will never forget when we showed him you could get any song on Spotify ! He was amazed and every time I saw him he would make requests and I would play them as we worked together, and he would sing along! It was a pleasure working with him and getting to know him! My condolences to his family! Laurie S.
In 1979, Larry's Sister Janet Hughes, Our Cousin Brian Rebischke & I, all graduated from high School. Everyone went to all 3 graduations. When we all were at Cousin Brian's Family's Home, Cousin Larry Fowler got out a guitar & showed us 3 how to play "Smoke on the Water". I never knew he even knew how to play 🎸. That was Great!
I never forgot how to play it 🎸🎶 .
How Fun it was growing up with all Our Cousins & meeting at Grandpa & Grandma Rebischke's home at #1618 Harrison St. in Oregon City. Larry, his Brother Donnie & Our Cousin Jerry Gregersen, enjoyed skateboarding down the steep hill, behind Grandma's house. Us younger kids weren't so brave, we used to sit on the skateboard & go down the hill- LOL.
Family Picnics, Baseball games & playin' at the playground at Atkinson Park, a couple blocks away from Grandma & Grandpa Rebischke's home, was so much Fun & something to really look forward too, whenever it was Nice weather.
Alot of Memories.

Sending lots of love to my big brother. You taught me how to fly a kite, pick strawberries, watch cartoons, westerns and your baseball games. Building forts, going to the pool, camping and the art of trick or treating. You always listened with a kind loving heart. Love you always ~ your Sister Sandy ❤️
