Longtime Estacada resident, Lawrence “Larry” Leetch, died on Wednesday, December 27, 2023. He was 86.
Lawrence Paul Leetch was born November 6, 1937 in Sioux City, Iowa to Lawrence and Marilyn Parks. He was raised in Portland where he graduated from Benson Polytechnic High School. Larry entered into the United States Army, served as an infantryman for 4 years and then he was honorably discharged at the age of 23. Larry married Pearl Violet Strueloeff in 1961. He would then begin a career in metal fabrication. In 2001 he retired as an ironworker for local 516.
Larry enjoyed hot rods, motorcycles, fishing, and traveling.
Survivors include his wife, Pearl “Peggy” Violet Leetch; daughter, Lilly Vaughn; son, Terry Leetch (Kristi Franke) and granddaughter Christina Farren Leetch.
