Former resident Michael Duane Conrey passed away at home in Madras, Or. Tuesday July 11, 2023. He was 70 years old. A service will be held Saturday, July 29th 2023, at 11:00 am at the Grace Crossing Bible Church.
Michael Duane Conrey was born on September 11, 1952 in Oregon City to Bill and Letamae Conrey. He was raised in Estacada, and graduated from Estacada High School. Mike had his own business which he took over from his father, Conrey Excavating. Mike also worked his main job at Estacada Rock for over 30 years.
Mike married Robin (Frickey) on June 14, 2008.
Mike’s hobbies included riding his Harley, Rock Hunting, wine making, and traveling.
Mike is survived by his mother, LetaMae Conrey; brother, Bob Conrey, sister, Michelle Perry., Wife of 15 years, Robin Conrey; children, Shawn Brewster, Heather Shearer, Kelly Smith, and Sean Conrey; step children, Ryan Hauptner, Jason Eley, Aryn Hauptner, and Alysin Hauptner; along with 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
