Obituary

Mulino resident, Randy Stoner, died at a Clackamas hospital on Wednesday, May 5, 2021. He was 60. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, May 21, 2021 at Springwater Cemetery. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Randy Owen Stoner was born April 4, 1961 in Long Beach, California to Douglas and Amy (Wige) Stoner. They settled in Milwaukie in 1979. In September of 1991, he met Karen Duncan. They married October 24, 1997 in Portland. Randy enjoyed hunting, fishing and being in the outdoors. He was quite a jack of all trades. Survivors include his wife Karen Stoner; son, Brandon (Liz) Stoner; daughter, Shannon (Ezra) Graham; sisters, Wendy Olds, Sherry (Ken) Sofich, Deanna Stoner; brother, Dan (Beth) Stoner and 6 grandchildren.

We were so blessed to have Randy and Karen as our neighbors. We recently moved to the neighbor and Randy was so welcoming and always so kind and willing to lend a hand when needed. We enjoyed his visits, sharing of his faith and his love of life in general. We miss you. Until we meet again. Derek- Lori Huey
I am new in the neighborhood where Randy and his wife Karen lives, but Randy was very kind enough to welcome me in their neighborhood. I can tell how much Randy love and care so much for his wife Karen. Surely Randy will be missed in our neighborhood. .. I was blessed to have Randy and Karen as my next door neighbors. Randy was a great guy and a great cook. When Randy found out that I didn't cook, but , eat out must of the time or eat tv dinners Randy started bring me,"home made soup or full dinners sometimes which was always excellent. steak, ham, potatoes, vegetables and even dessert on the holidays. Randy went out of his way to help me last fall when I had an accident on a hunting trip and broke my ankle. He brought home-made delicious food to me and also picked up my mail. I only got to know him for about 2 years but he treated me like a loved brother. I love you Randy, and am going to miss your calling me " bud" Jerry Fritz
