Longtime Estacada resident, Raymond E. Weaver, died June 25, 2023 at his home in Estacada. He was 82.
A celebration of his life will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Estacada Funeral Chapel. Followed by inurnment at Springwater Cemetery. Then a gathering of friends and family at the Weaver's home
Raymond Earl Weaver was born February 6, 1941, Blue Ridge, Georgia to Marion and Elzie (Kirby) Weaver. He was raised there with his 10 siblings and dreamed of coming out west. He worked as a sheet metal worker in Georgia. As a young man he moved to Estacada and worked as a sheet metal worker. He then started a Christmas tree farm and lived his dream on the farm until his death. He married Melissa in 1995 after meeting in the Christmas tree business.
Raymond enjoyed hunting, fishing, and finding arrowheads on his property.
Survivors include his wife, Melissa; sons, Lee and Mark Weaver; daughters Lynn, Heather and Ashley; brother, Roy Weaver and 16 grandchildren.
