Longtime Estacada resident, Bob Gould, died at his home with his family by his side on Tuesday, May 23, 2023. He was 85 years old.
A celebration of his life will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Estacada Kingdom Hall on Saturday.
Robert Irving Gould was born December 18, 1937 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Lawrence and Ethel (Emery) Gould. As a young child, his family moved to Portland where he attended school. He entered into the US Navy in 1956 and served for four years. After his discharge, he married Carol Harris in 1960 in Alameda, California. Shortly after that Bob went to work for Southern Pacific Railroad as an engineer. He retired in the early 1980’s.
Bob enjoyed fishing, hunting and being a member of the Northwest Steel Headers Club. He was a member of the Jehovah Witness Church for the last 23 years.
Survivors include his wife, Carol; three sons; three daughters and 10 grandchildren 23 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
