Estacada resident, Robert Lucas, died on October 1, 2023 at his home. He was 69 years old.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
Robert Laurance Lucas was born October 17, 1953 in Loma Linda, California to Roger and Mary (Goff) Lucas. He was raised in Riverside, California and graduated from High School there as well. He then joined the Marines and was honorably discharged in 1973.
He married Linda Louise (Shields) Lucas on October 22, 1983 in Riverside, California. Robert worked as a supervisor for the city of Riverside in the water district until he retired in 2013 after 31 years of service. They then moved to Oregon in 2022 to be close to his family.
Robert was a member of the Calvary Chapel and enjoyed gardening flowers.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Lucas; daughter, Cassandra Gilbert (Jase); granddaughter, Chloe (16); Brothers, James Lucas (Gretchen), Roger Lucas (Nancy).
Robert is preceded in death by his brother John Lucas (Nancy), and his parents, Roger, and Mary Lucas.
