Longtime Estacada resident, Sandra Ellis, died suddenly at her home on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. She was 66 years old.
Sandra Lee Ellis was born in Portland, Oregon on March 8, 1958 to Jerry and Linda (Niesen) Ellis. She spent her childhood at Three Lynx where her father was a hydroelectric operator at PGE’s Oak Grove Project. The family moved to a small farm in Estacada in 1971. After high school Sandra became a hairdresser. Later she would start her own business, where she took pride in being an animal sitter.
Sandra had many hobbies including reading, gardening, and farming. Recently, she has enjoyed spending time with her young nieces and nephews.
Survivors include her daughter, Ronnie Ellis (Jon); brother, Lonnie Ellis (Jackie); nephew Michael Ellis; and many step-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; Linda and Jerry Ellis; sister, Teri Ellis.
